Born in 2019 from the idea of creating a distillate unlike any other, one that gives voice to the terroir of the Verona countryside, AmaGin began as a rosé gin aged on the marc of Amarone. It is a project that builds a bridge between the world of great wines and the craft of fine spirits, drawing on the historic grape blends of the celebrated Zenato winery. The name is a statement of intent: a tribute to Amarone della Valpolicella and, at the same time, to the eternal love for which Verona stands the world over.

That romantic thread runs right onto the label, which carries a screen-printed drawing by the Veronese master Serafino Rudari, where the branches of an old vine entwine with the figures of Romeo and Juliet, binding life and love together.

The pride of the collection, born of this deep knowledge of the land, comes in three labels:

• AmaGin Rosé: a smooth, elegant distillate of a seductive pink hue, made by cold-infusing the prized Corvina and Rondinella skins of Amarone grapes. On the palate it surprises with enveloping notes of juniper, cinnamon and liquorice, and a fresh bergamot finish. It can also be drunk dry, over ice with botanicals.
• AmaGin London Dry: faithful to the oldest English method, it comes from a single pot-still distillation of all the botanicals together with the marc. The result is a dry, balsamic and beautifully fresh gin that holds the scent of just-picked grapes. Ideal for mixing.
• AmaOsè Rosé Garda DOC (Charmat Brut method): a mineral, well-balanced rosé sparkling wine that celebrates the Moraine Hills and the Trebbiano di Lugana grape, releasing floral aromas of rose and fruity notes of cherry and wild strawberry.
