The artist and painter Elena Brindani is our teacher for this workshop, designed and created by the Artistante Art Atelier team, a family business built together with her mother Silvana Pasini and her sister Elisa. Together they organize many exhibitions in Italy and abroad and have held painting courses for over 25 years.

Since 2018, in addition to traditional courses, 4-hour workshops are organized in which to develop a painting from start to finish, measuring each time with different techniques and themes.

WHAT THE WORKSHOP CONSISTS OF:

In this appointment we will face a beautiful view of Lake Garda (you can find it in the cover image), made with a mixed technique of acrylic and oil, on a canvas measuring 70x50 cm. Elena will illustrate the differences between the two types of color and will show the drafting on the canvas, using traditional brushes but also the most modern palette knife that allows you to obtain more vivid and three-dimensional effects. The image will be outlined directly with color, without a real preparatory drawing. The goal is to create a real view through the alternation of light and shadow.

The workshop is suitable for all levels, for those approaching painting for the first time but also for those who want to deepen the use of the palette knife, in particular it is aimed at those who have little time to follow a traditional course but do not want to give up develop and learn about new forms of expression.

Groups are of a maximum of 4 people to ensure complete and personalized advice based on the experience and skills of each participant.

For the realization of the workshop the minimum fee of 2 registrations is required.

For students of foreign nationality, the teacher will speak in English.

The duration of the workshop is approximately 4 hours, from 9:00 to 13:00 on Saturday 9 April 2022.

WHAT THE WORKSHOP INCLUDES:

Use of the room and all the necessary material: 70x50 cm canvas, acrylic paints, oil paints, palette knives, brushes.
