SALO'

Salò is an important centre of tourism, education and culture for the villages located on the western part of the lake. Together with the other seven municipal districts on the west shore, it forms the "Riviera dei Limoni". The old town centre is made of a dense net of alleys and small squares, with many stores and excellent restaurants. The enchanting promenade on the lakeshore is the longest on the whole Lake Garda. It takes to the idyllic, inviting gravel beaches in the south of the bay. The "San Bartolomeo" hill offers uncountable paths and panoramic tours through pinewoods. From the path you can enjoy an amazing view on the Monte Baldo (main mountain of Malcesine). In Salò, you can find numerous hotels, bed and breakfasts, residences, holiday apartments and camping.
