Sirmione is the peninsula reaching into the lake from the south: the Scaliger castle at the entrance to the village, the Grottoes of Catullus at the tip and the thermal baths.
Here you find apartments and a lake-fish restaurant right on the beach, a short walk from the castle, boat trips from Sirmione, group or private, and boat rental, and a winery in the Lugana area with visits and tastings.
