Imagine strolling through ancient morainic hills, surrounded by lush vineyards overlooking Lake Garda, with the scent of the lake breeze mingling with that of the living earth. Here, in the heart of Valtènesi, the La Torre Winery celebrates 100 years of family passion (1925–2025!), a century of dedication that today looks to the future with a green vision and a genuine heart.

Run by cousins Lorenzo Pasini and Barbara Gargano (the fourth generation), La Torre has been certified organic since 2020 and wholeheartedly embraces regenerative agriculture: zero synthetic chemicals, spontaneous fermentation, living soils, tall grass to protect biodiversity, sheep grazing to nourish the land… an ‘agricultural organism’ that breathes with nature.

The jewel in the crown? The extremely rare Groppello di Mocasina, a native grape variety almost unique in the world (less than 40 hectares in Italy), here produced as a single-varietal wine alongside Groppello Gentile, Marzemino, Barbera and Sangiovese. There is also the fresh Valtènesi Chiaretto, and whites made from Riesling Renano and Chardonnay, all strictly natural: very few or no sulphites, no aggressive clarification or filtration.

Just 10,000 bottles a year, for wines that truly reflect the terroir.

What to do here?

  • A tour of the vineyard amongst old vines and ancient 15th-century walls in Torre, from which the estate takes its name
  • A tour of the winery to discover the secrets of sustainable and modern viticulture and winemaking
  • Immersive tastings: glasses of Groppello, Chiaretto and native reds, often accompanied by local produce

An authentic, unhurried and sustainable experience, perfect for those seeking the true soul of Lake Garda: not just scenic beauty, but flavours born of a land tended with love for a century.

Welcome to La Torre, where tradition and the future raise a toast together. Cheers!
